Description

Mariëlle found her first real success in the mid-80’s singing in the “Boulevard of Broken Dreams Orchestra”, and as the winner of at that time, very prestigious Knokke Songfestival.

In addition to countless guest appearances, both solo and in combination with other artists, Mariëlle could be heard performing live every week for

15 years on Radio 5, on programmes such as “Opium” and “Desmet live”.

She is also still shining after more than 20 years as “Helen” in the legendary, one and only, The Living Jukebox.

Alan started off his musical career in the “New Wave” scene of late 70’s London. From the age of 17, he toured as guitarist with bands such as; Sussex, Bram Tjaikovsky, and even a brief sojourn as keyboard player with The Damned.

Alan moved to Amsterdam in 1985 where he co-founded The Weazels, who had great success touring for 6 years, almost non-stop, throughout Europe.

His introduction into the Dutch music scene came when he was asked to join the well respected band, Sjako!

These days, alongside his work as session musician, Alan plays guitar for The Scene, Thé Lau and with singer/songwriter Katarina Vermeulen.
