Twilight Walk Joon: (Re) discover Terschelling! Joon is Aasters - a Terschelling dialect - for evening. In the twilight,
the phase between the day and the night that lies ahead, we walk into the evening, as it were.
The Boschplaat is the first Dark Sky Park in the Netherlands, and Eilandmeisje shows you the beauty of that darkness.
The dunes of Oosterend harbor many stories, about sand drifts, living dunes, night hunters, drowners, disappeared fields
and more. Island Stories - Dark Sky - Jutten - Living Dunes This twilight walk is suitable for (young) adults.
Duration: approximately 2-2.5 hours. (International) groups (from 4 persons) possible on other days by appointment.
Twilight walk Joon is weekly based on availability from September to May. The start time depends on the sunset.
Starting point is the parking lot at Heartbreak Hotel, beach Oosterend at the 'happily ever after starts here' sign.
Look for current days under the heading prices. If you come by public bus, get off in the village Oosterend.
After that it is a fifteen minute walk on the Badweg.
On Fridays and during Night of the Night you can also book the Waddengoud arrangement Iten & Strûnen,
first walk and then dine at restaurant de Heeren van der Schelling. See on the left this package with excursions.

On Wednesday 17 and Wednesday 24 October there will be a special children's edition, a shortened version of the walk.
